About Leandro

Hello, my name is Leandro Lima. I have won more than 10 national and international awards in the field of direct sound for audiovisuals with films such as Tropa de elite, O Abismo Prateado, Faroeste Caboclo and others. I released my first documentary, "Lutando para Vencer" (Fighting to Win) on Rede Globo/UFC on a Saturday night on free-to-air TV with more than 8 ibope points, reaching the mark of more than one million viewers and with awards for best documentary at the Mexico International Film Festival and the Annual Copenhagen Film Festival in 2017.
With HBO LATAM I released my second film, Odilon, Defendant of Himself, which was shortlisted for the EMMY 2023. Today (2024) I'm executive director at Isabella Produções.
I was screenwriter and director on Odilon - Réu de Si Mesmo (2021); Bandida (2019); Cabeça de Nego (2018); Flerte Revival (2018); Lutando para Vencer (2017) and Ao Vivo no Jardim de Inverno (2013-2014). I've also worked as a sound mixer on more than 50 projects, including: Tropa de Elite (2007); Faroeste Caboclo (2013); Cleópatra (2007); Sintonia (2020-2023); Arcanjo Renegado (2020); Paraísos Artificiais (2012); Linha de Passe (2008) and Budapest (2009).
