Hello everyone! My name is Catherine Maguire and I'm a Wellington, NZ based makeup artist. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1287866/ Together with another makeup artist friend of mine, Georgia Lockhart-Adams, we are starting up a new business making standby belts. I know it's a busy time of year but we would love it if you could spare a couple of minutes for some crucial feedback. As makeup artists we have been searching endlessly for the perfect standby bag… or shall we say standby solution! We both had habitually used an over shoulder bag, as most of you probably do. After years of sore shoulders, back problems and other niggly issues we decided to switch out for a belt system. As the hips are designed for carrying weight it seemed the obvious answer. Having both hands free at all times to do your job with ease is brilliant! Moving onto a belt with two bags for even weight distribution is the best thing we ever did, it was tried and tested for 18 months (on the concrete floors of Stone St Studios!) and we want to share Linear Standby Belts with you. We have prepared a small and very quick questionnaire, it would be so appreciated if you could complete it for us. It is very early days but we would like to see what interest there is and how we can produce the best product for all who are standing on concrete floors all day, carrying equipment that is required for one's job!
