• Mary produced and directed her first short script “Forget Me Not.” The short film made it into both the New Mexico Film Expo and the 9th Annual Santa Fe Film Festival. Mary also produced and filmed “Byway Retribution.” and “Oilfield Electricians” Mary produced, filmed, wrote, and edited the pilot.

• In 2010, “The Extra’s Extra” won a spot with the NALIP writing fellowship. Only twelve writers were chosen from across the United States and Puerto Rico. Mary completed the fellowship in September of this 2010 with Ligiah Villalobos as her mentor.

Haarmeyer is currently working on her sixth feature-length screenplay, her second original TV pilot, “Split Second,” as well as working as the writer for both “Antioch” and “Death Everlasting,” films being produced in 2012/2013 in Albuquerque, NM and Los Angeles, CA .
