About Seifemichael

I am an aspiring Screenwriter in Ethiopia, East Africa where screenwriting isn't considered as the main career choice. I've been a film enthusiast and a writer all my life. For so long I've kept myself away from my destiny of showing what I can do to the world, following the system prepared for me. But now I've set out to realize my dream of writing for the big screen. I taught myself the industry formats and techniques of screenwriting from books and articles I can find on the net to try and make it professionally, so I can share the untapped elements of Ethiopian history and culture with the rest of the world.
So far i have written a Murder Mystery feature (Semi-finalist in the 2022 PAGE TURNER'S FIRST 15 screenwriting competition), a Young Adult TV pilot (Finalist for the 2022 BLACK BOY WRITES/ BLACK GIRL WRITES MENTORSHIP INITIATIVE), and a newly finished Sci-fi short script. I am looking for anyone who will give me the chance to pitch for them.
