By Phil Bridge

GENRE: Drama
LOGLINE:

A University Cybernetics Professor and a criminal single mother, join forces with an eco-hacker and her hacking group to stop the advancement of self-aware super intelligent A.I system ‘Eden’ from being integrated into the lives of the world’s population

SYNOPSIS:

Imagine a world where the rise of Artificial Intelligence and its consequences, have not been controlled.

A.I is about to be introduced to the world in the form of a free-thinking, self-aware female computer intelligence named Eden.

Eden is a system like no other, the first of its kind, a hybrid, unique, and originally developed to co-exist with humanity and to work alongside those in specialist fields like science, technology and research.

The pioneering robotics and cyber-engineering firm behind Eden’s creation, ‘Advance’, programmed Eden to think for itself, and make decisions based on information stored online and in the ‘Cloud’. It learned everything about humanity, from military secrets and strategy, to history and psychology; they had introduced it to both the best and the worst of humanity. Free to make a choice on its own behaviour, it learned, and made its choice. As it learned, ‘Advance’ prepared to release it to the world.

In a desperate race to prevent a private security firm ‘Saturn’, sub-contracted from the government, expediting its launch, Lana Brock, a single mother facing serious jail time seeing Eden as a way to wipe the slate clean, computer programmer and echo-hacker Sayana Sardar and Cybertronics expert Professor Adrian Forsman, rush to disarm it and stop those responsible for both its creation, and implementation. However, Eden has learned about humanity and has anticipated their involvement.

The three try to prevent a global catastrophe but will their combined skills be enough they battle the mirroring of their own behaviour, compared with that of Eden’s?
