Andrea Williamson

Andrea Walker-Williamson is an award winning filmmaker, author, mother, and founder of Create Noise Productions. She oversees Create Noise’s projects from the early development stages, through production and distribution. Andrea’s narrative and documentary collaborations have resulted in numerous film festival wins. She is the producer of THE BONITA MURALS, winner of Golden State Film Festival’s Grand Prize for Best Documentary Short. Andrea is currently in production on a documentary detailing San Francisco State University’s Black Student Movement. Her other documentary features, STORIES OF THE SOUL and DEAR MORRIS BROWN, are in post-production. Andrea is the author of three books: Mama, Who is Jesus?, Moments in Time: Poetry of Grief and Healing, and Through Our Eyes. The latter is an anthology written by middle school students who worked with Andrea in her Tragedy to Triumph Workshop Series, created after her husband’s tragic death in a motorcycle accident. She holds a Masters Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Media and History from Clark Atlanta University.
