Hello!
Thanks for dropping by! My name's Caitie, and I'm an emerging screenwriter with a background in playwriting, dramaturgy, and arts education in Toronto. I'm here because I want to write animated content for young audiences and am looking to connect with folks in the industry to learn how I can make this professional shift!
Last year I wrote a feature-length animation script called "Boxed In: A Service Dog Story", and I'm currently working on a spec episode for one of my favourite animated series; "Hilda" (anyone here see The Mountain King last month??) Now that I've got some material under my belt, I'm hoping to start sharing it around and getting some advice!
Looking forward to connecting with folks on here, and also very happy to offer dramaturgical services for any playwrights out there!

Playwright Cata wakes up with an angry tattoo on her leg. When the memory of everyone involved is clouded by drinking, denial, or desire, whose version of the truth is Cata supposed to believe? GASH is a fierce exploration of a young girl's sexuality, an act of violence that devastates a friendship, and the question; can truth be subjective?

Playwright George has flown the coop, leaving thirteen year-old Beans and her mother, Janie, to clean up the mess. In the process of removing his clutter from their home, the pair is charged not only with organizing the storage of an entire comic book collection, but with facing the responsibility they shared and shirked for a man they each knew so differently. Paradise Comics contemplates the trials of adolescence, parenting, and how families grieve.
