Daniel Boyd

A recognized pioneer in film and video production in the Denver market, Dan Boyd is President and owner of Dan Boyd Media Services. In recent years Dan worked with clients in developing methods and materials for on-line and distant education.

In addition to founding Dan Boyd Media Services, Dan co-founded Cine Design Films, Inc., a production company specializing in “high end” TV commercials, documentaries and business communications. During his time with Cine Design Films, he was honored with numerous local and international film festival awards including U.S. Industrial Film Festival, Gold and Silver Cindy’s and several Alfies. Dan joined the Walter J. Klein Company, Ltd. of Charlotte North Carolina, there he served as Director/Cinematographer, where he directed promotional motion pictures for companies that included Park Davis, BMW, American Humane Society, Kikoman and Hunter Douglas.

Upon returning to Denver, Dan joined Telemation as Director of Creative Services, then rising quickly to the position of General Manager. Dan was a driving force with Telemation in exploring the industry’s cutting edge digital video technology, both in production and delivery methods. While at Telemation he worked developing syndicated TV programs, programming for cable as well as distance education.

Dan held the position of President of the Colorado Film and Video Association for 4 years and has been an active member with the association. Under his leadership, the association membership grew ten fold and became the voice of the industry in Colorado.
