Biography
Terence Guthridge acts as Executive Producer, Co producer, production manager and legal advisor. Terence Guthridge has attended both the prestigious University of Melbourne and Monash University. He has also obtained a Masters Degree from the Bath University in the UK and a Juris Doctor of Law from The University of Melbourne where he was awarded the Prize in Intellectual Property. He is a barrister at law and an entertainment/film lawyer. Prior to coming to the law Terence Guthridge was a film and television producer for over twenty years. He was tutored and mentored by Alfred Hitchcock's famous student and international producer/director, Richard Franklin of Hotel Sorrento, Blue Lagoon and Psycho fame. In addition he has studied Film Production directly under world renown US filmmaker and educator, Dov Simens and Australian producer/director, Colm O'Murchu (The Makeover) . Terence Guthridge greatly admires the work other Australian Directors such Baz Luhmann (The Great Gatsby) , Fred Schepisi ( Fierce Creatures), Phillip Noyce (Patriot Games) and cinematographer/director Geoff Burton ( Sirens). He is an Award winning producer in his own right and has produced and directed numerous television and film programs and knows all aspects of the craft of film making as a hands-on practitioner. Terence Guthridge is retained as a legal consultant, entertainment lawyer and executive producer. He is one of only a handful of experienced executive producers that is university qualified as an Executive Producer in Screen Entertainment, Film and Television Distribution Law and Intellectual Property Law.
