Rachel Jarvis

Rachel Jarvis is a Caribbean-American writer, director, and podcast producer. Her 5-star audio drama podcast titled Lady Lucy currently streams in 14 countries and chronicles the misadventures of Shakespeare’s “Dark Lady” from the “Dark Lady” sonnets. Jarvis is currently pursuing her MFA in Screenwriting at UCLA where she was recently awarded the 2021 Felicia D. Henderson Screenwriting Fellowship and the Reel Spirit: Dini Ostrov Award in Screenwriting. When she isn’t writing about cynical book-smart Black girls, Jarvis can be found ordering age-appropriate clothing for her 3-year-old rescue pup named Silas.
