Julie Rao

I am often described as a cross between Marlo Thomas & Gidget (even 1x on national TV by my Love Connection date); I go by the name of Rao (“Ray-o”), and am a bubbly woman of the 80s, who was married for 22 years, had a 20+ year Advertising career in LA & Boston, and am the mother of a very intelligent & independent, 27-year old living in NY, who many say is a lot like me at that age (karma I am sure. ;) ) In 2016, I wrote a very a funny book about my life & times in LA in the 80s, and recently completed the funny & poignant script for the "fictitious sequel" to it. I also developed art & promotional pieces for the marketing of the show, and feel very confident it will be successful with millennials & baby boomers, both female & male (the marketing person in me could not help it. It is in my blood.)
