Benjamin Chege is an experienced author in genres ranging from fantasy, horror, drama and comedy, all under a pen name. Devouring all books he could get his hands on from an early age, his love of books translated into a passion for writing, which he began aged ten.
Currently working as marketing consultant and entrepreneur, his dream job is to be a full-time author and scriptwriter, a path he fully took when he sent a sample of his work to a ten-week introductory fiction course funded by an American foundation and conducted worldwide in 2010. Out of the 15 available slots, one was his. Soon enough, his creative passion delved into script writing, where in the year 2020, he was a Finalist in the 36th International Short Film Festival Berlin: International Script Pitch (InterFilm Berlin / InterForum 2020).
My aim is to write film and TV projects that appeal to a global audience.
When not writing novels, short stories and scripts, or planning literary world domination, Benjamin enjoys spending time with his daughter, nature walks, travelling and long drives.
