Blair Hebert – Author, Musical producer, Voice-over actor.
Blair is professionally active in both media (as a technician) and in the entertainment industry as a writer, producer, and performer. He has worked on many LA productions shot in Vancouver BC. Most notably Zoe’s Extraordinary Playlist (ZEP) which prompted him to complete his own musical production, years in the making. Sputnik Satellite Radio Show. It currently lives as a storytelling podcast and is in pre-production for a theatrical workshop and stage premiere.
Blair has performed in front of camera as an actor and music performer and behind the camera on motion picture and television sets as a technician. This has been his primary focus and income for the last two decades.
“I continue to perform live as a solo artist. Preferring to play early swing music, solo on a vintage archtop guitar for older audiences. I have released 2 CD's streaming on familiar sites such as Spotify, Last FM, and iTunes. I still compose and record new original music, posting to YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook using photos and stock video. I have a passion for collecting and playing vintage guitars and old school jazz songs.
In 2022 Blair focused on completing a musical theatre script, featuring original swing music he composed and recorded over the period of a decade. In 2023, The Sputnik Satellite Radio Show dramatic script, technical script, stage drawings, and season one of a podcast, were completed and ready for final theatrical workshop and production.. A screenplay has been adapted from the Stage script. Both the stage and screenplay are a musical story, set in and around a floundering swing music radio station set in 1957, competing with Rock N Roll. Then the Sputnik Event changes everything.
