Born in The Bronx, New York and raised in Westchester County, New York. At the age of 12, Rich earned an inner-city scholarship to attend a summer program at Tabor Academy, He performed as a supporting character and in the ensemble in various plays, including "Oliver," "The Legend of Tom Sawyer," and "Twelve Angry Men."
After graduating from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, NY, he continued his studies at Lehman College in The Bronx, NY. He was one of the first students to appear at the Lehman College Center for the Performing Arts. Portraying the 'Husband' in William Saroyan's "Hello Out There" led him to be cast in several other one-act plays.
Having that "if you don't do it now, you'll never do it" moment, Rich decided to pursue his passion for acting in 2012. While learning and absorbing the day-to-day business process of film making, by appearing in several network television shows and feature films, he was accepted to train with Jeffrey Zeiner at Weist-Barron Studios in NYC. As a principal actor in various independent features and short films, he continues to find his voice as a performer.
