Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Daiquan Smith has acted professionally since the age of ten. At a very young age,his parents nurtured and encouraged his instinct as an entertainer. The way that he could re enact scenes of Looney Tunes characters like, Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam, were all telltale signs. As a fifth grader at P.S. 329 in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, a casting director visited his school to audition kids for Miramax's next project, a movie now known as "Fresh". Since that moment, life has not been the same for the aspiring actor. Mr. Smith has performed in various stage plays during his college days as a Norfolk State University Player, as well as several off-Broadway productions along with a host of independent film projects. Mr. Smith continues to work as a freelance actor and learn more about this craft and industry. With the completion of a degree in English, with an emphasis in Theatre Performance , he looks forward into devoting all of his talent and energy into his craft and currently works as a freelance actor, in hopes to learn more about this craft and industry.
