Sherri Emily was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. She currently resides between states, New York, Massachusetts and Tennessee. She is Portuguese, English and French Canadian. She is the oldest of 9 children.

Her ancestors come from England, Canada and Portugal.

Sherri Emily has published many of her poems in poetry books around the world. There are too many to name. She has a short story published called, The Dream, in the New York City Library by Skylight Magazine. She has many unpublished short stories and poetry she wishes to publish in the near future.
