About Stephen

Stephen Gibson is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, sales & target driven individual with excess 25 years proven sales, marketing and media business career, who has continuously demonstrated success, driving sales through innovation; relationship & brand building for his own and international FMCG and Media companies and brands including C&C /Pepsi, Kraft Foods International, Diageo, Newscorp Group, RCA Media, Gibson Global Entertainment and Powerscourt Pictures UK.

Born in Dublin, Ireland and educated to degree level in sales and marketing, Stephen has been involved in sales, marketing and media from a very young age and with a business career spanning over 20 years, in 2007, with a desire to get back involved in film and entertainment he completed further training at Film Base, Dublin and workshops which included a 'Method Actor Training' workshop with Robert Castle, (Artistic Director of International Theatre New York).

Merging a love for the screen with a successful business background Stephen moved more toward producing and in 2010 he produced his first short film “Fallen” which was screened in numerous festivals. Since then and in the past number of years, Stephen completed further production training with Screen Training Ireland and Screen Producers Ireland and production workshops with award winning producers Arthur Lappin (‘My Left Foot) & Edwina Forkin (Zanzibar Films)

Other projects include the award winning historic short “An Tain, Darkness Descends” screened in the New York International Film Festival in 2012, the multi-award winning short film “I am Spoon”, Stephen is the executive producer on Graham Cantwell’s feature film, “The Callback Queen”, and Stephen wrote, produced and directed RCA Media’s recent short film & TV pilot “On Witches Hill”.

Stephen co-produced the Paco Torres feature film “Saol”; he was the Irish producer on the US / Irish co-production “Maidens of the Sea” in 2014 and most recently was Production Manager on the Irish feature Film “The Gaelic Curse” directed by Jack Conroy (My Left Foot).

Stephen has a number of projects in development.
