By Damien Cominos

GENRE: Sci-fi, Fantasy
LOGLINE: A small group of involuntary reincarnates must fight an occult war over thousands of years, a war most are unaware of but one with profound spiritual implications on humanity

SYNOPSIS:

ACT 1 - SUMMARY

Tom is a paramedic who is called under the pretext of an emergency, he is bound at gunpoint while his captor makes him memorise decades old corporate and sporting events. Tom is terrified when his captor then exposes him to a strange light emitting device. After escaping he wakes the next morning to discover he has inhabited the mind of his 11 year old self in 1987. After the confusion and difficulties of adjusting to this reality Tom teams up with a tramp, over several weeks Tom convinces him to make financial investments based on the events his captor forced him to memorise.

Thinking it was a dream Tom wakes again in 2020 but discovers he has a huge portfolio of investments and assets, he’s a billionaire! He decides to use his money to better the world but soon realises society is on an inevitable path to collapse. He decides to recruit a group of people with whom to start a new society, he charters a ship to take them to an uninhabited island.

Unbeknown to Tom his partner Alex, and his best friend Graham who have been with him throughout had lived many lifetimes over thousands of years and had been strategically sent to guide him and deliver him to this moment. Tom discovers the ship is going in the wrong direction and both confess to him they know, they tell him who they really are and who sent them. Tom believes they are lying and is devastated by the deception.

ACT 2 - SUMMARY

The ship is far from land and the sun rises casting a strange light, an island is revealed that is not on the map – it is the island of Atlantis and the year is 6356 BC. This is where Alex and Graham were sent from; they leave the group on the ship and take Tom to see their god, Enki. Tom is scared because Enki looks like a monster, but he is kind and loves humans. Despite his love he kills Tom to give him the gift of reincarnation and recollection. He also kills Alex, Graham and telepathically sinks the ship drowning those aboard so they can all be reborn at the same time.

Enki has a twin brother who is also a god, Adad. Adad lives in a distant land and sees humans as little more than slaves and seeks destroy the type of intellectually and spiritually advanced humanity that Enki is nurturing.

The reincarnations of Tom, Alex, Graham and the rest of the group are reborn on the island where they grow up to be known as the Indigo Children. Adad and his slave humans continually attack the island until it is destroyed but the islanders and the Indigo Children escape on the re-floated ship that brought them there. They flee to the land of Kemet (now Egypt). Enki and Adad die and are reincarnated as Osiris and Seth, each lead their rival groups who build what we recognise to be two Sphynx’s and the pyramids of Giza.

Over the centuries the gods reincarnate until they become mortal and die while the Indigo Children continue to live many lifetimes struggling against the generations of followers who continue to believe in the evil teachings and rhetoric of Adad and his reincarnations before his death. As time continues these followers create vast wealth and secret societies, and from positions of power they seek eventual global dominance. The Indigo Children slowly drift apart but individually seek to bring goodness and beauty to the world.

Tom continues to reincarnate until he is back in 2020, once again he has amassed wealth but this time uses it to expose the followers of Adad and their plans for humanity, in doing this he has become infamous as an eccentric conspiracy theorist. He gives an interview to a high profile journalist that he hopes the other Indigo Children will see so they can regroup.

The Indigo Children do regroup and form a powerful 21st century media and protest movement with which they hope to awaken humanity to its impending fate of slavery. The powerful followers of Adad’s rethoric realise the Indigo Children are beginning to put their plans at jeopardy so they wait until they are all twelve are together and assassinate them one by one leaving just Tom. They mercilessly shoot then drown Tom in a way to prevent him reincarnating until his body is lifeless and riddled with bullet holes.

ACT 3 - SUMMARY

Tom’s spirit is approached by an alien figure called Geb who is the father of Enki and Adad, he confirms to Tom that his body is dead and only his consciousness remains; he explains to Tom that consciousness creates the universe and Tom and the Indigo Children are only dead because his consciousness believes they are.

In a dramatic moment Toms consciousness returns to his body and he opens his eyes as the bullet holes heal. The assassins try to shoot him again but their bullets don’t harm him. He tells them that to him they are not real; they vanish. He returns to the bodies of the rest of the Indigo Children and tells them they are not dead; in an emotional moment the Indigo Children return to life.

Tom now knows his purpose; through their joint consciousness he and the Indigo Children create a new world – millions of people who are evil or not ready for the utopia vanish to be reborn; forests replace highways, spectacular shiny monuments and temples replace dirty cities, scarcity is replaced by abundance, and the pollution of the sea and sky is absorbed and destroyed by the change.
