In second grade, I wrote a play about man landing on the moon after seeing Peter Pan at the Lakewood Little Theater back in Cleveland. And continued writing with stories of Russians invading Lake Erie where we kids were the only ones who were left to resist.
Even though I ended up in Honors Math in high school and wound up as a Software engineer for many years, it wasn't until I got bored with it working at a bank that I returned to write short stories back in 1980's.
Went on later to work in the Cleveland Playwright's group and acing my Intro to Drama with the one act play, DRAMA 111.
After my marriage in 1992, I moved to Dallas and spent some time as a software engineering consultant before attempting the great novel before making a few screenwriters as friends and joining their group a few years ago.
Recently, my script, THE CHRISTMAS DRAGON won the shorts award in the Southern California Screenplay competition.
