Braxton A. Cosby is a multi-award-winning author who has penned over 17 books, ranging from health and wellness to young adult, and autobiographies. Although most of them are self-published, Cosby’s health book Fat Free for Life: 13 Principles for Guaranteed Weight Loss and Ultimate Health was published by Siloam, of Charisma Media in early 2016. Cosby has won over 10 book awards and accolades for his writing as a novelist, including his young adult novel Protostar, which earned Readers' Favorite Book of the Year Award for Sci-Fi Romance, as well as the Literary Classics International Book Award for Sci-Fi Young Adult. His adapted screenplay for Protostar was a Quarter-finalist in the 2020 ScreenCraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy Screenplay Competition. NYT bestselling author Adriana Trigiani called Cosby’s work, “daring, exciting and romantic. Cosby has penned two short film pilots; Ira and Destiny Revealed. He also wrote three films including The Big Weekend (comedy), Protostar (sci-fi), The Inheritance (drama/sci-fi), and Triumphant (superhero). Cosby is also the CEO of Cosby Media Productions (CMP), an Indie book publishing company that owns the rights to over 50 original novels and stories, which are ready for teleplay and screenplay adaptation. Starchild Comics, the comic book imprint of CMP has published 4 comic books. Cosby has also narrated over 5 of his own novels for distribution.
Cosby is an executive producer for the short film version of Triumphant and has appeared in multiple television shows and films as an actor.
