About Ziga

Ziga is a writer and performer with a passion for storytelling. She has experience in acting, writing, piano, singing, dance/sports, comedy, and
musical theatre. She is also a poet/spoken word artist, a writer/reporter for Asia Lab Korea, TalentEgg, her show, Talkin' With Ziga, on Little News Ears, and on freelance platforms such as Medium and Substack. She directed virtual plays, and produced two poems for CurtCo Media's A Moment of Your Time Podcast. She has performed in TV, Film, commercials, theatre, professional virtual productions, and poetry slams. She won first place at the Hanford Monologue Slam in 2022, and has been a Global finalist at the World Monologue Games several times. She has trained with the teen repertory group at LA Connection Comedy Theatre for Comedy Improv and received a certificate in Performing Arts from NYU Tisch School of Arts. She was also a participant of the 2022 APN RBC Emerging Artist Playwright Mentorship Program. She continues to learn how she can break into the industry as an actor and writer and make her impact and grow connections with other writers, performers, and filmmakers. She likes to write teen/young adult centered material focused on diverse people and cultures, mostly comedic, as well as psychological horror. She is currently developing her first short film: #/
