I'm a writer and a journalist from Poland. I worked for some of the many media in my country and won some minor prizes for my short stories and plays. I was also awarded a stipend from the Polish Ministry of Culture for my treatment of a historical movie.
Some time ago I decided I'd like to try to write for the American market.
Last year my first script was in the top 15% of the Academy Nicholl Fellowship.
Unique traits: As a journalist, I covered i.e. the Belarus-Poland border crisis. I talked to migrants from Yemen, Kurdistan and Syria. I entered zones that were excluded from the public (but later the Polish high court ruled that journalists can't be disallowed from entering those zones, so I'm good).
