Tassos Gerakinis

Tassos Gerakinis, producer, director and screenwriter, graduated from the Polytechnic School as a surveying engineer.
He began his career in cinema with the production and direction of short films, such as "The Crisis" and "Out of Schedule". In 2008, in collaboration with ERT (Greek Public TV), he created the film "Does Anyone Hear Me?" which received an award from the Greek Film Center and an honorary distinction from the Ministry of Culture. In 2019, his first feature film, "A Simple Man," was released, co-produced with the Greek Film Center, ERT, Faliro House, and Bad Crowd and Arizona Prod receiving positive reviews and being presented at festivals worldwide. In 2022, he produced the short film "Fault," which premiered at the 44th International Film Festival of Drama. Currently, he is in post production for his second feature film, "The Rooster," produced by his recently established company DECA PROD EE.
