SYNOPSIS:

The Man from the Sky is a coming-of-age comedy-drama set in Sao Paulo; the plot focuses on the quirky relationship between Joao, a social-climbing, ambitious businessman on the verge of a promotion, a vainglorious playboy who doesn’t seem to care for anyone but himself, and Diego, a stubborn street urchin from the favelas who works as an electronic waste scavenger. The movie is conceived as a bittersweet modern fairy tale that tells us how often what we are obsessively looking for is not what we really need and that our true realization is just at hand if we are able to look.
