  The Man from the Sky Comedy ⋄ Drama The Man from the Sky tells the tragicomic odyssey of Joao, an arrogant social-climbing businessman who works in a construction company in Sao Paulo. His physical and emotional journey begins when accidentally he loses a key given to him by his boss to a safe-deposit box where he has to collect a mysterious briefcase to deliver before Christmas Eve. In order to obtain his coveted promotion, he’s forced to plunge into the dodgy world of the favelas where the luxurious complex of apartments he has planned is set to be built, asking a snot-nosed street child to help him track the key down. By doing so Joao finds that the unknown world he has always chosen to ignore is closer than he thinks; and he eventually learns that often what you are looking for is not always what you need.
