What type of Film festivals does the panel suggest for low budget short films, shot with a budget under $5,000 ?
I agree with Randy Brown. Go onto Withoutabox.com. That is the #1 Film Festival site around the world. They will let you know the qualifications you need to meet. Most of the time I don't think they have a "Low budget" short film festival.
How much money have you set aside to festival fees? That is a good way to narrow down which festivals you will choose.
Hey Jacqueline, I have submitted a few films through withoutabox and do not get bombarded EVERYDAY. In fact, sometimes I find out about possibilities when they are at the late deadline and cost more. Remember, it just takes a sec to delete an unwanted email.
It is really hard to know where to start, and to understand which curators might like your work. There are so many festivals now.
