About Phillip

Upon graduating with a B.A. in 2006 from UCSB, Phillip Lindsey promptly moved to Los Angeles. He began to work as an associate editor for a company that created special features for Hollywood movies. Here he honed his documentary storytelling skills through filming and editing behind-the-scenes interviews and content for some of Hollywood's biggest films.
In 2008 Phillip began working for creative services department at Creative Artist Agency (CAA). During this time he worked editing hundreds of reels as well as filming auditions for some of Hollywood's most prominent names.
By 2010 Phillip formed a production company titled One Way Pictures with offices in Santa Monica. He quickly became so busy with company projects that he decided to leave CAA. Over the next five years, Phillip produced and directed national commercials for a wide variety of clients, went on to help develop three reality shows, worked on dozens of corporate projects and directed and edited numerous short films. He also worked extensively with dozens of production companies in a freelance capacity.
In 2013 Phillip’s company won the bid to create a series of videos for an alcohol brand. The commercials exceeded the client's expectations, and they ended up premiering them at the W Hotel in Hollywood at their sponsored Academy Awards after party.
In 2015 Phillip was offered a chance to help start a media company. The goal was to become the #1 video resource for everything related to parenting and families. Here Phillip went on to produce, direct and edit over a 1,000 videos for a company called, Kids in the House. The videos consisted of short films, interviews, and talk shows.
In 2016 Phillip took on the task of building out a custom studio for Kids in the House’s weekly television show in Santa Monica. The half a million dollar facility could do live switching/ editing between 6 cameras, bring up to 4 Skype guests online simultaneously, can include graphics in realtime, stream to Facebook, youtube among other advanced features. During this time he was also able to pull himself away at times from the corporate environment and get his creative appetite wet by directing four music videos for two clients in 2017 and a makeup company's ad campaign.
In 2019 Phillip wrote and directed a short film (comedy/action) which was accepted in over 40 festivals and won numerous international awards. In recent years he has been producing and directing dozens of commercials and is currently developing two screenplays for production
