My first introduction to Hollywood was through the world of reality television, but I've always been a writer. I sharpened my skills in college as a newscaster at WBRU-FM and did a stint in TV news before making the move to Los Angeles in 2006. Working on shows like "The Amazing Race"(CBS), "America's Next Top Model" (CW), and "Whodunnit?" (ABC) exposed me to high-level production and gave me an invaluable window into how networks function. I've worked as a casting producer for projects ranging from "Bar Rescue" (Spike) and "Hunted" (CBS) to "Baking Impossible" (Netflix), and developed a number of series including "No Demo Reno" (HGTV). More recently I've shifted focus to screenwriting and script consulting, with one script optioned and others in development. I own a production services company in Connecticut with my husband, a longtime independent filmmaker, and understand not just the craft of screenwriting but what it takes to get a project greenlit, produced, and into distribution.
