Born in High Point, N.C. Grew up in Ponce, Puerto Rico and later in LaPlace, LA.
Mario has been writing and performing from a young age. He was first cast as Pontius Pilate in his school's 4th grade Passion Play and has been washing his hands free of guilt ever since. Mario acted in high school productions and received his B.A. in Literature & Creative Writing from LSU. He moved to Los Angeles in 1996 to attend the MFA Film & Screenwriting program at Loyola-Marymount and began exploring acting and stand-up comedy. He has worked in the film and television industry in a variety of positions, including writer, actor, producer, director, grip, p.a., and cameraman. He has produced several short films and web series. Mario is currently in the development and financing stages on several projects including the feature films: Lost Angeles, Lycanthropy, and From Budapest To Freedom. He's performed often at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and currently lives in Las Vegas. He's appeared on Telemundo, ABC, NBC, CBS, Comedy Central Web, and all over the web
