About Steve

Dec 2023 I am attending some industry events and finally taking the steps to re-enter the world of professional Acting. I know what it takes so now how good I have to be before the first audition. Finding an Agent happens when I am ready not before. As for this platform: I have strict rules about connections due to the number of members who simply want to add another name to their list. I am interested in people whom I can work professionally with. The Pandemic rather screwed my comeback but where there is a spark of creativity there is life!
I returned full time to the Film Industry in July 2018 and was given two new Actor Roles before the shutdown. I am a Vancouver based Actor with lots of professional experience. I was a Trumpet Player/Football Player, then started Acting in my late 20s on Stage, and did a lot of TV Series. I've been on over 300 productions as an Actor, or Stand-in, Body Double, Background or Film Still Shots. I gained invaluable experience from being on so many Sets meeting and working with wonderfully talented people. Even when in the Biz part-time I did attend Acting Classes getting feedback from teachers and fellow actors like: "very versatile, good for many different roles" and "you give a real heartfelt honest connection". I believe in really good health, keeping physically active and mentally active with my research hobbies of genealogy and history studies. I was a local Tour Bus Driver where I've talked at times for 6 hours a day (while driving a Bus), so my voice is very powerful and articulate. I love doing Voice Overs especially narration, so am working hard to be perfect, as you must be with Voice Overs. Years ago I was a Television Show Host in Toronto with a 3 hour show. I know a lot of interesting characters and feel at home in the company of "Crazy Film Industry People".

Unique traits: Beautiful voice, strong emotional depth, big sense of humour and nice to be with. I only base my view of others through what their actions are not what they are with no acceptions.

  • John Doe

    John Doe (2002)
Television (Drama, Mystery and Sci-Fi) Actor John Doe is an intelligent adventure series, named after the main character, albeit not by name: 'John Doe' is called thus because nobody knows the name of the man who literally fell from the sky, naked, in the sea near an obscure island. When Cambodian fishermen save him, it soon becomes clear his memory is in a paradoxical state: he has total amnesia concerning his own past, even his real name, but has more factual knowledge stored in his brain then even the Google computer banks on every possible other subject, as if he had memorized the Library of Congress, so one rarely needs to read anything when he's around. He also is intelligent and inquisitive enough to understand and use much of that knowledge, and keeps rolling into all kinds of weird mysteries, teaming up with various characters, each of which must first be convinced he's legit, such as police detectives Frank Hayes and Jamie Avery, but gets frustrated by finding his own story the most elusive, probably linked to some ...
