An illegal immigrant travels across California. During his journey, he meets a young woman who tries to commit suicide. He saves her at the last moment. The two become friends, then the friendship becomes love. Unfortunately, the past they fled catches up with them. They will have to face their fate if they want their love story to survive.

SYNOPSIS:

RAMI, 29, a handsome man travels through California. Rami is an illegal immigrant. He always carries a camping backpack with a tent inside. Every night he manages to find a place to sleep like a nomad in the desert. He lives off odd jobs he does on the way.

One night, while sleeping on the roof of a building under construction, Rami hears someone crying. He gets up to look around. He finds ANGELA, 21, a young woman clinging to the roof railings, ready to jump. Fortunately, Rami saves the girl before she kills herself.

Despite their differences and backgrounds, Rami and Angela get to know each other. Gradually, they become friends.

We learn about Rami's past. He fled his country to survive certain death, and since he is in America, he tries to be as discreet as possible to prevent those who want him dead (dangerous and powerful people) from finding his trace.

Angela decides to live with Rami while waiting for better days.

Rami refuses at first to let Angela accompany him on the roads and tries to send her back home.

Angela insists on staying with Rami, making him understand that she feels safe with him, and if he leaves her, she risks attempting suicide again. Rami feels guilty, he ends up accepting that Angela stays with him.

Along the way, we begin to know Angela, she is a free spirit, unpredictable, and full of life, the opposite of Rami who’s very calm and discreet.

Angela does what she wants and often drags Rami into delicate situations. She steals from stores and is constantly looking for trouble, which gets Rami into fights and pushes him to take risks.

Despite everything, Rami can't help but have feelings for Angela, and ends up falling in love with her.

One morning, while camping on a literally deserted beach, Angela and Rami hear the cries of a woman, she is on the shore. A little boy drowns. Angela and Rami run and dive into the water. They save the boy and bring him back to his mother.

Meanwhile, a man, not far from them, witnessed everything and recorded their heroic action on video. He posts it on social media and the video goes viral.

Soon after, their faces are shown in all media, and they become famous. It doesn’t take long for the media the recognize Angela, she is the heiress of a very wealthy family.

Stunned by the news, Rami resents Angela for not telling him the truth about her story and putting him in danger since their faces have now been shown around the world. Rami decides to leave Angela and go alone.

Angela finally tells her story to Rami. Her father died a few months ago and she is an only child. His uncle took over control of the family business. But he discovered that Angela's father made a will that makes her the one and only beneficiary of everything he owns. Since her uncle didn't like being left out, he tried to kill her and make it look like an accident in order to inherit his late brother.

Meanwhile, Rami's enemies learn that he is in America because of the video which was broadcasted around the world.

The media wants to know more about them, the public calls them "Romeo and Juliet". Rami's enemies want to kill him, so they hire a group of mercenaries in the United States to find him. And finally, Angela's uncle tries to find his niece to eliminate her.

The couple is found bit their enemies. They have no choice but to fight for their lives and survive or die together.
