About Melissa

Currently Melissa Murphy is freelancing as an Editor, Producer, Director, and Videographer around the Madison area including working with American Family's media department, Roach Productions, and Google as well. While Acting is no longer her main focus in her freelancing career, never one to turn down an acting opportunity, you may have seen her recently in a Zimbrick commercial or two. Melissa enjoys every aspect of filmmaking and loves being apart of the process anyway possible. Born and raised in the Madison area she is well networked within the community. Having started acting classes at a young age and well through her teens and into her 20's Melissa has worked on countless productions, onstage and onscreen. She recently Graduated from Madison Media Institute with a Bachelors for Independent digital film. Now that school is behind her she is looking to help fellow filmmakers and broaden her network and is proud to be joining MCAI-Madison this coming year as their Communications Director.
