Kim Saunders

Kim has performed, directed and choreographed in all 4 corners of the country. From NYC to Florida on to California and up to Washington! SOme of her credits include BUDDY at San Jose Stage, LAS MENINAS (world premiere) at San Jose Rep. and MIDSUMMER and ILLUSION OF SUCCESS at The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She is also a director and choreographer.

Kim is a native New Yorker and was actually born in New York hospital! Though she now calls the San Francisco/Bay Area her home and loves it, she will always think of NYC as hers. She adores all animals and shares her home with her husband Ron and is owned by 2 cats Kabuki and Chanel!

She is passionate about all forms of theater and the arts. She is a collaborator by nature, loves delving into the history of a play and is also a very physical performer. Kim loves performing, directing and choreographing shows from Shakespeare thru new works. She feels comfortable in a black box for 60 to a main stage of 1600. Friendly, kind and a bit of a chatter box when she gets nervous she hopes to continue working in this crazy profession till the day she dies!
