Hello fellow writers! I just finished and published my first ever fiction novel! Its on Amazon kindle. Its called Confessions of a Nun! Its exotic and erotic, about a young woman in the 60’s sent to a convent by her controlling father. It has lesbian elements, coming of age, and sexual awakening. Please check it out! I also have 2 feature film screenplays ready to go, and a TV pilot. I have strong female protagonists in all. Queen of the Skies is based on the true story of Bessie Coleman, first woman of color to get her international pilots license; Merk City which is set in the dirty south and is a mystery/thriller about a corrupt sheriff and his high school girlfriend who has returned from Hollywood. The pilot is called Lost and Found, the story of a woman washed up on the shore in South Carolina with no memory but she has a huge diamond engagement ring on.

I am a writer and actor.  I also direct, produce and am a costume designer/makeup artist. I am looking to get a writing partner for scripts that tackle subject matter of women and minorities.  I have a feature that is an historical biopic about an Aftican American woman, another feature that is a thriller set in South Carolina about a woman who returns home to bury her mother but unearths some horrific crimes committed by those she loves snd trusts and many shorts. Some of the shorts have been produced and I am in the process of festival submissions. I am also writing an erotic LBGTQ fiction with strong female characters. I am a college professor of Theatre living in LA as well

Hello everyone. I am a new screenwriter, just learned how during Covid last year. I finished my first screenplay and am now ready for the hard work of getting seen in the industry. I am also interested in networking with other writers and people in the industry. I am an online professional trainer for project management for my "real" job, but decided that someday was never going to come for my bucket list unless I made the decision to start today. I am currently working on a new Rom-Com and building my portfolio.

Hi Everyone. I just started writing during the pandemic. I have two screenplays - a comedy and a drama - and two novels - a legal thriller and an historical family saga. I've been submitting my work to competitions and have been faring well. My hope is to find representation this year to help me move to the next level.

Hi Judy. What did you have to do to get the permission from the actual "real life" person the story is based on or the family? What about if you wrote a script "based on" the life of an obscure historical figure? Thank you. Kathleen Roy
