The Stage 32 Videos: Collaboration

Two indie film directors (Sol Roth from the USA, and Dean Houlihan from Ireland) talk live about the ups and downs of no-budget filmmaking and announce a new original co-produced film, to be shot world-world with collaborative talent. They also chat about the methods and legacy of Quentin Tarantino, Michael Bay and Roger Corman. Other topics include, why so many aspiring filmmakers end up quitting, how creative limitations can fuel wonderful storytelling and the power of social media.

"As an artist during this deeply challenging year, we have all gone through a wide spectrum of emotions and life changes. Recently, I have been lucky enough to create a short dance film as a poem to all artists who are feeling lost and displaced during these difficult times. I was so honored to create with the incredible multi-talented artist Lauren M. Lowell who not only did the camera work and editing, but also the styling!
