Sands of Memory

A journey through the desert that begins with mystery and wonder — and slowly descends into darkness. The chase, the fear, and the final silence where no hope remains. A cinematic story told through music.

BRAND NEW TRAILER

I’m so thrilled to announce the official trailer and poster release for a short film I worked on as composer and dialogue editor! The film is “Mr Rogers”, and it is based in part on a popular African children’s rhyme. Written and directed by the VERY talented @danielehimen - Produced and filmed by PI Image Productions in Lagos, Nigeria. Mr Rogers explores themes of familial bonds, ancestral legacies, and the enduring power of love in the face of darkness. Through its spine-chilling narrative and atmospheric setting, the film delves into the complexities of the human spirit and the secrets that lie buried within the recesses of soul. It was really challenging and exciting to produce a score with a blend of orchestral and traditional African instruments and themes, as well as some signature sound design (like electric kalimba!)
