"Borkum - In der Saison der Sinne" (Imagefilm)
A new and different approach to tourism and marketing. Coming to a North Sea island during the cold season means a to travel into your inner world. Steffen Cieplik created a sensual experience, inviting the viewer to "slow down" and take a rest. It also was a first bold move of a Noth Sea island to advertise the usually considered most "unattractive" season for island visitors. Giving Cieplik complete control over the artistic process (they did not want to change a thing in the finished film), this project had the chance of becoming something very unique and inspired quite a few imitators in style and form.
