At Ian Bryce Productions, Will oversees the company's entire development slate. Will entered the entertainment industry as an Agent Trainee at United Talent Agency, supporting UTA in the Motion Picture Lit group, as well as in the Motion Picture Talent department. After UTA, he moved into development at Original Film's TV department, working on hit shows such as THE BOYS (Amazon) and PREACHER (AMC), as well as on SWAT (CBS) and HAPPY! (Syfy). Will has produced films such as the upcoming LOLA JAMES, starring Nicola Peltz and Oscar-Nominee Virginia Madsen, BERNARD AND HUEY, starring Jim Rash, David Koechner, and Mae Whitman, as well as Belarus's 2018 Oscar selection for Best Foreign Film, CRYSTAL SWAN, along with Vice. This film has captivated audiences and gotten the critics talking. Join us on Wednesday March 6 as our Stage 32 Executive Liaison Nick Phillips breaks down the script of POOR THINGS. We'll learn how this wacky weird movie has entered into pop culture and why the script works so brilliantly.
The Breakdown Webcast: Plot Twists!
Director of Script Services Jason Mirch dissects scenes from some of our favorite films and TV series including Bad Times at the El Royal, "Game of Thrones", The Sting, The Sixth Sense, and more! During this webcast, Jason discusses how screenwriters craft compelling plot twists and how you can use the principles in your own writing. We will also discuss practical tips and ideas on how you can create a twist that is worthy of a, "Whoa!" instead of a "huh?"
The Breakdown with Thunder Levin
We're back in the Writers Room this afternoon for The Breakdown Webcast Thunder Levin. Thunder Levin is a feature film and television writer/director. He is probably best known as the creator of the pop culture phenomenon “Sharknado” series of TV movies for Syfy Channel. He has written and directed four feature films: “Mutant Vampire Zombies From The ‘Hood!”, an independent horror/comedy starring C. Thomas Howell; “American Warships” a military action film starring Mario Van Peebles & Carl Weathers for the Syfy Channel; “AE Apocalypse Earth”, a science fiction film starring Adrian Paul & Richard Grieco; and “GeoDisaster” a disaster film released in 2017. He has written over a dozen produced feature films & TV movies, and collaborated on a videogame adaptation of the classic 90's TV series “Xena: Warrior Princess” for Universal’s “Series” mobile app. He is developing several TV series, feature film projects, and a comic book series. He’s a lifelong sailor and car enthusiast who’s recently taken up motorcycle riding and is at work on his first novel. Yes, that’s his real name.
