About Zena

Freelance story editor/consultant, screenwriter, published author (Snakebite), and Sto: lo Nation filmmaker from Seabird Island Band near Agassiz, BC. Zena lived and worked as a Teacher On-Call for the Yukon Department of Education in Whitehorse, Yukon, for many years and still has family there. She's a Graduate of the Indigenous Digital Filmmaking program at Capilano University and a member Of the Writers Guild of Canada and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. Her novels, Alpha and Out of the Bottle, will be released in 2023. She's the story editor for the television series Containment.
