Soft but Snatched, Kirkland Saves the World is a Supernatural Teen Drama Series featuring the shy Indigenous teen Kirkland Windsor, who is forced back to the reservation to live with an evil step-family. At the same time, he deals with social anxiety, grieving his mom and culture shock as he discovers he carries a rare gene that turns him into a furry creature with powers to solve mysteries and save the planet. Set in a fictional reservation, Kirkland Windsor, a shy Indigenous teen, falls deeply in despair, fighting with his step-siblings and grieving his mother while forced to live on the reservation. Just before his dad returns home from his honeymoon, Kirkland learns how much his new siblings despise him. When he deduces from a change in his father's demeanour that his dad doesn't care for him anymore, he knows he needs to move or lose his last connection to his old life forever. Broken-hearted and alone in the forest, Kirkland comes of age. The young teenager turns to Kansas Freeman, his best friend, who is 2-Spirit full of mysterious Indigenous magic. Together, they try to solve the mystery of what happened to Kirkland in the forest and who is after him using their Tarot Cards and Kansas' psychic abilities. Set up by his new siblings, Kirkland throws the first punch, and Dad sends him to the lions, err, more like the Sasquatch myths might have some glue, even in the Group Home for Delinquent Boys.
