The high concept pitch :

Alexander -30 years old- wakes up half-dead and tied up in a container after he’s been beaten. Whereas he moves towards an unknown destination, he discovers that he is one amongst 500 people to be in the same situation - being kidnapped with no particular reason. Communicating through partition walls, he then tries to know whether his wife and daughter were kidnapped too. A reflexion about his life and the rest of this story comes next. Has he been kidnapped by terrorists ? by slave traders ?

Alone in a container for one and a half hours…

Making a movie such as Buried is always a complex exercise. It allows for sure to make a film without a big budget but it requires an inch-perfect script and very good actors in order to avoid the audience to be bored. It is indeed not easy to make a movie such as Cube or Buried.

Here, Woody Noel tells us the story of a - man - who wakes up in a container with a plastic bag on his head. He manages to free himself and discovers that other containers are attached to his. In each container, one person is imprisonned, with in mind the same questions as his. Until the end of the movie, The other characters are just ethereal voices, and they will have to understand what they are doing there through dialogues, researches, thoughts and pictures (the heroe was a photographer).

Besides, the idea to show the journey through these jails, or the possible faces of the other prisoners through pictures of the heroe, is excellent and innovative.

Every minute, the interest moves up a notch. Terribly surprising, the reasons for that abduction are excellent and are lead in a quite superb way, increasing the weight of that surprise.

Verdict : Enclose is a movie comparable to Buried or 127 hours. The audience may indeed lose the tension at times but it offers an unforeseeable and incredible final twist. An excellent and surprising movie from Woody Noel .
