THE BRILL

In Swingin' Sixties New York, two "Boy Wonder" songwriters create unforgettable music and get incredibly rich and famous.  They have absolutely no idea how dangerous that really is.

As If

In the early 2000s, a traumatized young woman enters a fugue state in which she believes herself to be living in the year 1995. Several years later her story is picked up by a pop culture news program, sparking a national movement of release, nostalgia, and deliberate cultural amnesia. A jukebox musical, and also a very, very loose adaptation of Don Quixote. An exploration of the things we turn to for escape in the moments when reality bites.

A CERTAIN ARROGANCE

Faced with eviction, the residents of a trailer park stage a Cirque du Soleil-style extravaganza as a fundraiser to buy the property themselves and save their community.

The Invincible Ballerina Versus The Immortal Time

The historic struggle of a prima ballerina to beat the immortal time

The Lost Coin (of Christmas)

The full length musical:   “This coin belonged to your great grandfather.  It should never be spent. Keep it safe.”  In this musical the 14 year old protagonist loses the 1854 “family coin” on a 1934 NYC street.  On Christmas Eve the lost coin touches the lives of many on its consequential journey around the city.

FLY

A coming of age series about a group of 7th graders in the 90s who want to start their own R&B music group; the only problem is, none of them can sing… until the new kid moves into town.

The Littlest Sparrow

What kind of God would let her daughter die? Edith’s battle with faith, modern battle of religion, bigger conversation & activist standpoint, empathising with self, then others.

Charles

Can you fall in lust just by a musical performance?  Charles will let you know,  without a word, that you can.

Maxxed At Intermisson

A six-part mini-series. The main character, Maxx, and her boyfriend, Jerry, are a young singer-songwriting couple, who move from the Midwest to Reagan-era (1983) Los Angeles to pursue their music, but inadvertently become involved with a Vietnam vet, Kaymus, whose survivor-guilt has led him into a dangerous life helping refugees flee El Salvador, and this new relationship evolves into a love-triangle that poses quite the dilemma for Maxx. In high-concept terms, think of Maxx as Liza Minnelli in “Cabaret” crossed with Meryl Streep in “Sophie’s Choice.”

Entitled

After her roommate abandons her, a musically talented barista must roommate with her worst enemy so she can afford to face the pressures of adulthood and pursue her passion.

The New Romantics

Inside a cutthroat music conservatory, a rebellious young singer battles to become opera’s next star against her fiercest critic – an aging diva who gave her up for adoption 25 years ago.

Uni

Set in the admin department of a large university, UNI follows the staff as they navigate another academic year, whilst occassionally breaking into dance routines to lip synched songs. It's The Office meets Glee. A true ensemble piece.
