Hello Actors!
Stage 32 has invited me to build a series of courses for the actors in this community and I would LOVE to build my teachings around what you'd actually like to learn!
Are there any topics you'd like more insights on or more clarity around or just need to know more about?
I've been acting professionally in film & TV for 20+ years (with 60+ feature film & TV credits), in SAG-AFTRA for 18 years, have written a textbook for actors, I run a Career Strategy community for actors (the Secret Actor Society), and have taught seminars for tens of thousands of actors worldwide through SAG-AFTRA, Spotlight UK, the MEAA, Anthony Meindl etc... and I'm still working now - I've shot 3 x feature films in the past 6 months.
I can teach ANYTHING relating to working professionally as an actor specifically in film & TV at any budget level. Including marketing materials, auditions, networking, representation, working on set, press, etc...
I do NOT know enough to feel comfortable teaching about voice acting, modelling, or building a career acting in commercials or video games (though I did just book a huge video game franchise, so I guess I'll know more about that soon!).
Huge hugs! I can't wait to hear your ideas and see you in class!
Sincerely,
Kym Jackson
