Cinematography : Learning by doing by Frank Van Der Meijden

I make up stories for 25 years now. I wrote several short suspense stories (and published them) and currently I'm working on my scenarist skills.

Movies are a passion. That's why I am a movie critic as well (in the Netherlands) for a decade now.

This month I'm starting with a new study: cinematography in Amsterdam. For a year I will combine my writing skills with filmmaking. The study starts with scenario writing, then camera techniques, after that production and finally editing.

Hoping it will bring me furher in the (Dutch) world of filmmaking and maybe internationally...
