Roger Deakins podcast

I love me some Roger Deakins - he’s a genius with the Coen brothers films. Here is a podcast I found from him on NPR: https://www.npr.org/2023/02/23/1159128683/academy-award-winning-cinemato... What’s your favorite Deakins film?

Thanks for sharing the podcast! Waaaay too many films to name : Sid & Nancy, O'Brother Where Art Thou, A Beautiful Mind ....

Jordan Smith

For visuals he is second to none, I personally think his influence on animation as a consultant really pushed the technology boundaries while changing the dynamic of "grounding" the camera on reality, from Wall-E to How To Train your Dragon. I also have a lot of respect that he did a labor intensive amount of non-paid work to make Oh, Brother Where Art Thou into it's final form. A favorite for sure!
