So while I'll be spending time with George Bailey in the next few days, there are so many more to choose from....

What's your process for finding a composer?

Filmmakers, I’d love to hear about your process when choosing a composer for your projects. I’m a composer specializing in film and game scores, and I’m always excited to connect with creators who value the power of music in storytelling.

Rutger Oosterhoff

I think I get what you mean Alessandro, it's a feel, a click, still many ways lead to Rome, but many more do not.

Willem Elzenga

I look into portfolio's offered and listen if they match the vision for my project. Also I have to convince the team of my pick as a director, so experience and technical skills can be important. A co...

Collaboration With A Director

When I do storyboard jobs for film and media directors, each job is different in terms of the theme of the project and the script you get to board up the scenes. Here is an example of storyboards I did for a Victoria’s Secret Super Bowl Ad Campaign. This was a job I did with Madoff Productions. My t...

Great tips, Rich Terdoslavich! How often do directors request changes to storyboards?

Rich Terdoslavich

Very rarely. For this job, the director had specific visuals he wanted me to board. We had a meeting, reviewed over the script and knocked them out in a few days. Everything worked out and enjoyed working with the client.

Involving Job Postings

One of my cast members made me aware that one of the roles for the short film I'm planning on making is "locked/reserved". I tried editing the job to see if I could unlock it, but it didn't show anything. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix it? I get the feeling that it might be affecting other roles for the short as well.

You might need to email Technical Support, Tony Ray. support@stage32.com

The Worst Movies of 2024
Variety critics pick the worst movies of 2024, from 'Rebel Moon: Director's Cut' to 'Poolman,' 'Dogman' and 'The Mouse Trap.'
António Monfort

I haven`t seen none of the movies but I would like to see.

Richard "RB" Botto

Goes to show how subjective all this can be. I've seen LISA FRANKENSTEIN on a top 10 list or two.

Dan MaxXx

I really hate worst film lists, mainly cause friends have worked on some and nobody intentionally wants to spend months & years and see crap final results. Having said that, the worst film Ive seen in 2024 was last week. Kraven. Total junk and it was directed by JC Chandor!

Alan Brewer

Haven't seen any of them! :)
