Co-Production Must be in the Mix | Screen Australia CEO

Co-production is a great avenue for film finance. It entails bringing together various country cohorts to provide financing for a production from their respective territories.

These deals are complex, and the budget process is as well, in order to bring the necessary funding to the film or television production.

However, these deals often come with built-in distribution as the entities involved have output arrangements with local television and film distributors backing the investment.

Certainly for multiple territory, locations specific productions these can be smart considerations to get the project made.
