Introduce Yourself : In the Middle of Saskatchewan a Screenwriter Lives by Justin Chomitzky

Good day everyone, nice to meet you all, glad to be here! My name is Justin Chomitzky and I am fairly new to Stage 32. Joined a couple of weeks ago. I am an an emerging screenwriter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I have always had a passion for storytelling since I was a kid. In fact I remember writing a play in elementary school just so I could perform in stage. Never did though, because thank god it was horrible, lol!! I never really got into screenwriting till 2016 when I bought a few books to teach myself.and wrote a psychological thriller that I am planning to go through one. day that I have a little more knowledge. After that I wrote an online story on a blog called The Adventures of Pops Brilliant. In 2021 I took some classes at the Vancouver Film School but had to pull out after a couple of months due to family issues. Since then I have entered a few screenwriting contests and have a couple of placements. I was a quarter finalist in the outstanding screenplay competition. And a semi finalist for a tv pilot wrote based off that short film in the Southern California Screenplay Competition. Currently I am working on a couple of horror features I came up with.
