I am a VFX Editor at Framestore, BAFTA Connect Member and co-founder of filmmaking group Let's Make Films.
Let's Make Films plan to run regular events that will appeal to people from all levels and disciplines across the film production process, from pre-production to exhibition.
Our aim is to support and encourage people to make films with good practice, through a variety of activities including: speed networking, pitching, screenings, film challenges, internal film festivals, cast and crew breakout groups, taster session talks and demos, workshops, masterclasses and more...
We are hosting our next event at Framestore on Tuesday 28th February, 6.30pm-9.30pm in the 5th floor cafe.
Venue: Framestore, 28 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1LB
This is a guestlist only event.
There will be drinks and light refreshments provided.

Let’s Make Films 3 month focus on Virtual Production continues with Dr Jodi Nelson-Tabor and James Codling from Final Pixel Academy and Final Pixel presenting a session on “The New Roles and Learning Pathways of Virtual Production”.
Anyone interested in the upcoming 48 Hour London Sci-Fi Film Challenge? Meet potential cast and crew and form groups at the event.
There will also be pitches, speed networking, breakout groups and hopefully some films screened from the sci-fi challenge that was set in the last event.
Let's Make Films sounds like it's going to be fun and helpful for creatives and industry pros, Andrew Fineberg! Hope everyone has a great time on the 28th!

Thanks, Andrew Fineberg. I might write a script for a 48-Hour Challenge this year.

Nice. It's meant to be written, shot and edited in 48 hours, but everyone knows a script is already written beforehand and adapted to include the props or line of dialogue etc..:)

All of that in 48 hours? Wow! It's doable though. Even if I don't do a 48-Hour Challenge with a cast and crew, I might do the writing part. Maybe a 2-Hour Challenge to make it more of a challenge. :)
