Thanks for sharing! This begs the question: has anyone used AI for 'help'? What were your experiences? I used ChatGPT once to slim down a Logline. The result wasn't great, but it helped me get to the core a lot faster :)

Jaap Ruurd Feitsma, I also think as a tool, it's great for checking and compiling research quickly. If you're writing and in a flow, but you need to switch over to fact-check something, you can easily get stuck in a distracting Google spiral. But quickly asking ChatGPT or Google Gemini, can speed things up and get you back to writing.

I agree with Ashley Renee Smith in that it can be used as a research tool...especially with my short attention span. SQUIRREL!

But on a serious note, I once had a professor tell me that when you write with your hand, it flows from your soul. I still believe that's true with a keyboard. And since Ai has no soul then...

Ashley Renee Smith

Hahaha, glad to know I'm not alone in... SQUIRREL!

AI is definitely terrible over any sort of long form writing. I'll use it sometimes for location descriptions of places I've never been with a simple prompt like: "Describe 1820s London in 3 sentences." Which will output something smart looking and pithy that I can play around with.
